Kathy Harrison was a young primary school teacher when she was writing School Rhymes in the early 1980s. They give a delightful picture of how children experience those first school years, told in their own words. In spite of three decades of change in education, these poems are timeless, and will appeal to teachers, parents, grandparents and anyone who would like be reminded of their own childhood.
