Pixo Escapes is so clever at sharing insights into how we may be different from each other. It achieves this by comparing neurodivergent traits in humans to the personalities of dogs. I mean, there is so much love for dogs and an acceptance of their differences and this book encourages a greater understanding and acceptance of how we may have different needs and ways of interacting and communicating. A great read for all ages and backgrounds and an invaluable resource for all schools.

A really engaging story with lots of useful information about being neurodivergent. I really like that the book contains activities and discussion topics for children and the adults reading with them. I am autistic myself, and I would have found a book like this really useful when I was younger. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone, particularly to anyone parenting or teaching neurodivergent children.
Not being dyslexic, ADHD etc, I found the book gave me a fascinating insight into this (to me) unknown world. It is vitally important for me as a teacher and business partner to be aware of how to communicate and create a safe space for everyone to learn and achieve. Pixo Escapes is not only a great story – the discussion topics are excellent mentoring prompts.
This book was a beautiful and insightful story written by someone with first hand experience of what it's like to navigate the wold as a neuro divergent person. I think every child weather they have autism or not should be reading this book to help them understand and know that's its okay to be different and how to help others regardless of their differences.
