It is said that poetry is when an emotion has found its thought, and the thought has found words. My hope is that some of my words will please, amuse, or provoke something within, and that when you dust it off and peruse it again sometime next year, you might also be prompted to consider the cause for which it was written, and either get that essential check up, or push the man in your life to.
