In this collection, we meet King Arthur and his court, gods and heroes from various traditions: Adam and Odysseus, Dickens and Shakespeare, Mer-people and fairies, Bottom and Boudicca. This is a collection of poems which looks again at such varied stories from a different viewpoints, often that of the characters themselves, in a variety of verse forms, and with tones ranging from the sad to the joyous, and including the humorous.
