Come and Dine takes its title from John 21:12 (AV), the invitation given by the Risen Christ to some of his disciples by the Sea of Tiberius. It sets the theme for twenty sermons, mainly in the New Testament, preached by the author over many years of ministry.

David Price was ordained in 1963 and has served in the Anglican dioceses of Lichfield, Oxford, Jerusalem (with CMJ, the Church’s Ministry Among Jewish People), London, Winchester, Worcester, and Hereford. Since moving to Ledbury in 2007 with his wife Barbara, he has also written One Out of Ten, his autobiography; One Man’s Return to Zion, following a return visit to Israel and the West Bank; and Aleph to Tav, an A to Z of twenty-six sermon gleanings from the Old Testament.

How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! (Psalm 119:103)
