This book started off as a project to produce a number of interpretive panels depicting the history of Worcester Woods Country Park. The boards went up with a potted history displayed upon them but there was so much information that couldn’t be presented. With colleagues, volunteers and the general public presenting the author with more and more information as interest in the project grew, she realised that the only way to present the information in its fullest form was in the guise of a book. Thus the idea for The Illustrated History of Worcester Woods Country Park was born.
