Earth listening is about deeply connecting to the living being, known as Gaia or Mother Earth and forming an ongoing relationship with her. It is about understanding that, as human beings, we are just one of the jigsaw pieces that form the entire amazing sacred whole that is the Earth. The growth of human supremacy over the last few hundred years has severed our connection with the whole with disastrous consequences. Earth listening seeks to redress this imbalance and reconnect us with life, and our place here. As we breathe in the oxygen that the trees and living plants release, we realise that they absorb the carbon dioxide we exhale in a sacred dance of togetherness and inter-being.
