Richard Dobson takes a walk around Herefordshire in the footsteps of nineteenth century author and artist Henry Timmins. In this book, Richard, camera in hand, retraces the route taken by that inquisitive Victorian rambler, and in so doing covers, on foot, nearly 2,500 miles and goes through three pairs of walking boots. His account of the journey presents the reader with a personal insight into the places that Timmins visited, and the changes, in both landscape and people, that have taken place over the last century.
