A very funny account of the author’s job in recruitment of personnel. She recalls interviews which, at the time, were frustrating but now, on reflection, are funny:

The young man who claimed that he left his previous job because he couldn’t do the night shift. He had a baby with his fiancé and couldn’t sleep through the day.

An older man who claimed he was good with his hands – a quick learner who knew his ‘Health and Safety’ and ‘stuck by them.’

An elderly applicant’s reason for leaving previous employment was because he ‘could not cope with people'.

The book portrays the way in which a percentage of the population regard the work ethic. A hilarious book of job interviews.
